DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING A SHOE SOLE TO THE OUTER CONTOUR OF A HUMAN FOOT

The invention relates to a device for adjusting a shoe sole (1) to the outer contour of a human foot. The device according to the invention has a stretching and/or expanding device (3) that is integrated in an elastic partial region of the sole (1) and acts transversely to the longitudinal extension thereof for broadening or tightening the shoe sole (1). The user of the shoes equipped with the device according to the invention can precisely adjust the same as required for the user's personal comfort. If the feet are swollen from a high outside temperature during summer, or after prolonged standing, the shoe can be adjusted to the respectively required space. For this purpose it is a substantial advantage of the device according to the invention that the adjustment of the shoe achieved by means of the device can be reversed.
