PURPOSE: A carrier board for the semiconductor device inspection support equipment, and the semiconductor device detecting apparatus and detecting method. The plan image of the carrier board is gotten with the camera. The semiconductor device is detected through the obtained image. The semiconductor device can be detected from all types of carrier boards. CONSTITUTION: A camera(510) takes a photograph of a loading unit of a carrier board. A determining device(520) decides loading of a semiconductor device through an image recording from camera in a load stock. The load stock loads a semiconductor device. One part has a semiconductor device and the other color among the loaded field of the load stock.
