SAFETY SYSTEM FOR A DRY SCRUBBER TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS DUE TO CHANGES IN INTERNAL PRESSURE OF PIPES AND A CANISTER

PURPOSE: A safety system for a dry scrubber is provided to prevent accidents due to the explosion of a canister by discharging internal gas from pipes in case of malfunction of an automatic valve.;CONSTITUTION: A canister(120) is connected to a gas service pipe(110). A bypass pipe(130) is installed in the middle of the gas service pipe. A by-pass automatic valve(140) is installed in the bypass pipe. A gas discharge pipe(150) discharges the gas treated in the canister. A safety plate(160) is operated by the difference of internal pressure between the canister and a pipe interconnecting the gas service pipe and the gas discharge pipe.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
