PURPOSE: A method for displaying an image of a mobile terminal and an apparatus thereof are provided to intuitively check information of a surrounding area by a real image captured by a camera.;CONSTITUTION: A camera module(408) receives an image captured by a camera. The camera module detects a direction of the camera. A display unit(404) displayed a captured image. A control unit(407) detects a location of a POI(Point Of Interest) corresponding to a keyword.
