FIELD: textile, paper.;SUBSTANCE: intended for use in paper-making machines. Cloth and method of cloth manufacturing are proposed, where cloth is created using continuous material that contains at least two layers of machine direction threads (MD threads), unroving threads transverse to machine direction (TD threads), in zone of specified continuous cloth, where a cut should be made, cutting of at least one layer from MD threads on the first specified section and cutting at least one layer of MD threads on the second specified section. This method also includes stages of folding continuous cloth in two in MD direction, placement of the first and second sections near each other, formation of loops from at least one uncut layer of MD threads, when specified cloth is folded, and sewing loops to make continuous threads.;EFFECT: invention provides for production of cloth with improved characteristics in the area of seam.;20 cl, 11 dwg
