The trailer coupling device has a ball neck (10), by which a ball head (12) is supported, where a receiver opening (16) is provided in the area of the ball head. A retaining unit (14) is provided in the area of the ball neck for a detachable cable of a supporter. The retaining unit has eyelets (22,24) which surround the receiver opening with the ball neck.
