The invention relates to a method and to a device for the single-channel reception of an analog signal or for the multichannel reception of a plurality of analog signals corresponding to a plurality of channels. According to the inventive method, all channels are processed successively by a signal processing unit within a predetermined processing period that is shorter than the symbol duration shortened by the timing control or equal said duration. Said signal processing unit is activated or inactivated individually for every channel due to the faster processing pattern depending on the availability of new entry data.
