The device has a command and control electronics (18) transmitting an infrared beam (20) towards a leaf (1) of a shutter, in a closed position of the leaf, when the electronics records the stop of closing of the shutter. The beam is then reflected on an infrared receiver to indicate the position of the leaf in a permanent or frequential manner. The electronics triggers an alarm when the beam is not reflected on the receiver. The beam is reflected, on the receiver, through the leaf and a window (25) using reflectors (28, 29).
