PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fibrous matrix made by artificially associating collagen molecules, and also to provide an artificial cartilage tissue in which cartilage cells are localized within the matrix containing both collagen fibers and aggrecan aggregate.;SOLUTION: The collagen molecules are accumulated on a membrane to form the collagen fibers by using a bioreactor, and the cartilage cells are added during the fiber formation. By doing so, the cartilage matrix, in which the collagen fibers and the aggrecan association coexist, and the artificial cartilage tissue wherein the cartilage cells are localized within the cartilage matrix are produced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
