PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suitably notifying an occupant of a general vehicle of emergency traveling of an emergency vehicle in an emergency vehicle information notification system.;SOLUTION: The emergency vehicle information notification system includes: a transmission apparatus mounted on an emergency vehicle; and a receiving apparatus mounted on each general vehicle. During emergency traveling, the transmission apparatus wirelessly transmits information indicating the present position of the emergency vehicle and information indicating the advancing direction of the emergency vehicle to the receiving apparatus. The receiving apparatus determines whether the emergency vehicle approaches or not based on the information indicating the present position of the emergency vehicle, the information indicating the advancing direction of the emergency vehicle, information indicating the present position of an own vehicle, and information indicating the advancing direction of the own vehicle, and only when determining approach, notifies an occupant of the own vehicle of the approach of the emergency vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
