PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crane boom contact prevention sensor and a mounting structure for the crane boom contact prevention sensor capable of preventing a distal end of the crane boom from being brought into contact with a structure object and a wire.;SOLUTION: The crane boom contact prevention sensor 10 includes a sensor pole; a rocking shaft member fixed to the distal end of the crane boom and rockably supporting the sensor pole; and a weight member provided on a lower end of the sensor pole. Further, in the mounting structure for the crane boom contact prevention sensor 10, the crane boom contact prevention sensor 10 is mounted to the distal end of the crane boom 1. Thereby, since the crane boom can be made to rise and fall while an attitude of the sensor pole is maintained in a vertical direction, an upper limit of height of the crane boom can be easily and certainly detected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
