PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently distribute SPD(security policy data) while assuring security.;SOLUTION: In the SPD division and distribution method of distributing the SPD to assure the security of cipher communication from a management system 100 to a VPN system 200 which is a distribution destination, the management system 100 saves the SPD and the division information for dividing the SPD in correspondence in a memory region, reads the SPD and division information corresponding to the distribution destination from the memory region, forms a plurality of the divided SPD information by dividing the read SPD and sends a plurality of the formed divided SPD information. On the other hand, the VPN system 200 receives a plurality of the transmitted divided SPD information, synthesizes the SPD by using a plurality of the divided SPD information and stores the synthesized SPD.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
