PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device having excellent operability and capable of securely connecting two members to each other, a scaffold plate for connection having the connection device, and a handrail.;SOLUTION: This connection device comprises a first engagement part fitted to a connected member and engaged with a plate-like mating connection member from the underside and a second engagement part engaged from the upper part. The first engagement part is formed at the lower end of a lock plate rotatably fitted to a pivot shaft in a roughly horizontal state among the upper and lower ends thereof holding the pivot shaft.
