A method for endoscopic ventriculocystostomy at presence of ventricular drainage in patients with occlusive hydrocephaly in the acute period of ventriculomeningitis is the formation of a stoma between the cavity of the third ventricle and interpeduncular pontoon tanks. After perforating the bottom of the third ventricle and the introduction of the endoscope into the interpeduncular cistern the stoma is formed between it and pontoon tanks. The surgical intervention is completed by control of liquor flow-out efficiency through formed stomas and removal of external ventricular drainage.
