Provided is an apparatus for powder-particle agitation, wherein retention of powder particles in a dead space is prevented, and the height of a discharge section of the apparatus is lowered. The agitation apparatus (1) comprises a vessel (4), for agitating the powdery particles therein, which has a powdery particle feeding section (2) at the top and a powdery particle discharge section (3) at the bottom; an agitator assembly (7) which is provided inside the vessel (4) and has an agitator rotation shaft (5) placed horizontally and main paddles (6) fixed to the rotation shaft (5); and a multi-feeder (8) which is provided at the powdery particle discharge section (3) and is capable of rotating in two directions. The multi-feeder (8) comprises a discharging rotation shaft (81) and auxiliary paddles (9) which rotate integrally with the rotation shaft (81) and are smaller than the main paddles (6). The multi-feeder has a function of assisting the agitation, when the agitator assembly (7) agitates the powdery particles in the vessel (4), by rotating in the reverse direction so that the auxiliary paddles (9) scoop up the powder particles in the powder particle discharge section (3) and transfer the powder particles to the vessel (4), as well as a function of discharging the powder particles from the powder discharge section (3) and the vessel (4) when the multi-feeder (8) rotates in the normal direction.
