Disclosed is a wheel drive control device for controlling the drive of the wheel for a crane device which moves while supporting a hoist section. The wheel drive control device is provided with: a load detection unit for detecting the lifted load of the hoist section; and a torque limit value determination unit for determining the limit value of a torque in accordance with the lifted load by increasing the limit value of the torque, while the crane device is accelerating and in accordance with the lifted load, until said limit value of the torque reaches the maximum value.
