PURPOSE: An array substrate for a fringe field switching mode liquid crystal display device is provided to improve image quality by reducing a color shift phenomenon and enhance the characteristics of a think film transistor by minimizing parasitic capacitance between gate sources.;CONSTITUTION: An array substrate for a fringe field switching mode liquid crystal display device includes a gate wire which is extended in one direction, and a gate insulation electrode(208) which is formed in a switching region and connected to the gate wire. A gate insulation film(215) made of SiO2 or SiNx is formed on the gate wire and the gate electrode. A data wire is formed on the gate insulating film and defines a pixel region by crossing the gate wire. The data wire is connected to a source electrode of a thin film transistor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
