PURPOSE: A styrene resin composition for flowerpot is provided to ensure excellent hydrophilic property, permeability and antibacterial property, and to prepare a flowerpot with little damage and light weight. ;CONSTITUTION: A styrene resin composition for flowerpot includes, based on 100 parts by weight of a composite resin, 0.5~2 parts by weight of silver(Ag) particles. The composite resin includes 40~85 weight% of styrene-based resin, 5~50 weight% of ceramics, and 8~12 weight% of compatibilizer. The silver particle includes silver particles and mica particles(Ag-Mica) prepared by inserting silver ions into mica. The compatibilizer is maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
