摘要

PURPOSE: A tread groove for enhancing hydroplaning related performance of a tire is provided to enhance the driving and brake functions on snowy road and the drain performance on wet road by improving the shape structure of a protrusion on a groove. ;CONSTITUTION: A tread groove for enhancing hydroplaning related performance of a tire is as follows. A trapezoidal protrusion(4) is integrally inserted into a horizontal groove(2), which is formed in the circumferential direction of a tire. The front leading part(4a) of the protrusion is high in the rotating direction of the tire and the rear trailing part(4b) of the protrusion is low. The front leading part which is the front shape of the rotating direction of the tire, has a tilt angle of 80~90°. The rear trailing part has a tilt angle of 30~70° from the front leading part to the bottom of the horizontal groove. The depth(h) of the front leading part of the protrusion is set to 30~100% of the depth(H) of the horizontal groove.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
