PURPOSE: An ink-jet printing apparatus and driving method of the same are provided to print micro-pattern by collecting ink droplet discharged by the piezoelectricity type with nozzle and using only the discharged jet by the electrostatic method. ;CONSTITUTION: The ink-jet printing apparatus includes: a fluid path plate(110); a piezoelectric actuator(130); an electrostatic actuator(140); a piezoelectricity voltage apply unit(135); and an electrostatic voltage apply unit(145). Ink inlet(121), in which the ink flows, and pressure chamber(125), containing the flowed ink, and nozzle(128) for being connected to the pressure chamber and discharging the ink are formed in the flow path plate. The piezoelectric actuator offers the piezoelectric driving power to the ink by changing the volume of the pressure chamber. The electrostatic actuator offers the electrostatic driving force to the ink. The piezoelectricity voltage apply unit authorizes the piezoelectric actuation voltage of having direction of reducing the volume of the pressure chamber to the piezoelectric actuator to discharge the ink droplet through nozzle. The electrostatic voltage apply unit produces the jet from the ink droplet and authorizes the first electrostatic actuation voltage, which is to be flied to the print media, and the second electrostatic actuation voltage of the opposite direction and the first electrostatic actuation voltage to collect the ink droplet to the nozzle inside in the electrostatic actuator.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
