PURPOSE: A polyester composite yarn having excellent absorption and dry properties and a method for manufacturing thereof are provided to improve freshness of fiber with a simple process by using high shrinkage and low shrinkage yarns having the specific cross section. ;CONSTITUTION: A polyester composite yarn having excellent absorption uses a method for manufacturing different shrinkage composite yarn with one step. The yarn is selected from a group consisting of high shrinkage yarn of circular surface and low shrinkage yarn of modified cross-section surface, high shrinkage yarn of modified cross-section surface and low shrinkage yarn of circular surface, and high shrinkage yarn of modified cross-section surface and low shrinkage yarn of the modified cross-section. The elongation of the high shrinkage yarn is 60% or greater. The elongation of the low shrinkage yarn is less than 50%.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
