PURPOSE: A robot is provided to express intimate gestures by forming natural curves through thickness variation of the outer sheath. ;CONSTITUTION: A robot comprises a plurality of link members(120~150), one or more joint hinges(220~240), and outer sheath(300). The joint hinges connect the link members. The outer sheath encloses the link members and the joint hinges.
