The collision detecting device (1) has a base (3). Several rod-shaped pressure-sensitive elements (9) are arranged on the surface (7) of the base. An elastic outer sheath (13) covers the surface of the base and the pressure-sensitive elements. The outer sheath transfers the collision pressure or force to pressure-sensitive elements so that the pressure signal is generated by pressure-sensitive elements.
