FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: according to the method of making an array of distorted microoptical elements, a substrate is made having on opposite sides a first and a second surface with an array of microoptical elements on the first surface and the second surface undergoes controlled processing. Processing is carried out locally with creation of distortions at least inside one microoptical element opposite the processing site. The array retains its original appearance except distortions obtained inside individual microoptical elements of the array. When making an array of corner-cube reflectors, at least one localised region on the second surface of the substrate undergoes controlled processing in order to change at least one dihedral angle of at least one corner-cube reflector opposite the processing site to form an array of corner-cube reflectors, having divergence in a given interval.;EFFECT: wide interval of controlled divergence.;26 cl, 11 dwg
