Catalyst (I) comprising amorphous support made of alumina, phosphorus, at least one 1-4C dialkyl succinate, acetic acid and hydro-dehydrogenating function consists of cobalt and molybdenum, where Raman spectrum of the catalyst comprises bands of 990 and/or 974 cm - 1with Keggin heteropolyanion characteristics, characteristic bands of succinate and main bands of 896 cm - 1of acetic acid characteristics, is new. An independent claim is included for the preparation of (I).
