PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for assessing the habitat of scarlet dwarfs.SOLUTION: A method for assessing the habitat of scarlet dwarfs includes: an information acquisition step of acquiring scarlet dwarf habitat information including at least one piece of information among water information about water in an area to be assessed, soil information about soil in the area to be assessed, and vegetation information about the growth situation of plants in the area to be assessed; and an assessment step of determining whether the habitat information acquired in the information acquisition step meets scarlet dwarf habitat requirements, that is, habitat requirements including at least one of water requirements about water in areas where scarlet dwarfs can live, soil requirements about soil in areas where scarlet dwarfs can live, and vegetation requirements about plants in areas where scarlet dwarfs can live and, if the habitat information meets the habitat requirements, assessing the area to be assessed as suitable as the habitat of scarlet dwarfs.
