PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal updating display content displayed on an electronic advertising hoarding in succession even when it is difficult to install a wireless or wired LAN, and to provide the electronic advertising hoarding and a program. PSOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 communicates with a server 3 for advertisement operation through a mobile phone communication section, and also communicates with the electronic advertising hoarding 2 through a short-range communication section. The mobile phone 1 has: an advertisement content receiving means for receiving an advertisement content made associated with a hoarding ID (identifier) from the server 3 for advertisement operation; an advertisement content storage means for storing the advertisement content; a hoarding identifier read means for reading the hoarding ID from the electronic hoarding 2; and an advertisement content transmitting means for acquiring the advertisement content corresponding to the hoarding ID from the advertisement content storage means and transmitting it to the electronic advertising hording 2.
