The present invention relates to novel compositions containing hyaluronic acid and derivatives thereof in association with the proteolytic enzyme collagenase (and with respect to pharmaceutical formulations) for the preparation of a dressing for topical treatment of various types of injuries, burns of varying depth, decubitus, vascular ulcer and diabetic foot ulcer as well as for treatment of hypertrophic and keloid scars.
