Disclosed is a fluororesin-coated polymer film forreinforcing a polymer electrolyte membrane, wherein thefluororesin-coated polymer film is fabricated by formingon at least one side of a polymer film a coating of areaction product of (A) a fluorine-containing copolymercomposed of a fluoroolefin, a cyclohexyl group-containingacrylic ester, and a hydroxyl group-containing vinylether, and (B) a crosslinking agent having two or moreisocyanate groups. The polymer film according to thepresent invention not only exhibits sufficiently highinitial adhesion strength, with respect to the polymerelectrolyte membrane, but also retains thereafter highadhesion strength in actual operating environments.
