PURPOSE: A waste disposal system for melting asbestos waste using general waste as fuel is provided to melt pre-treated asbestos waste using a melting furnace for general waste without manufacturing an exclusive melting furnace. CONSTITUTION: A waste disposal system(100) for melting asbestos waste using general waste as fuel comprises a pyrolysis furnace(110), a melting furnace(120), and an asbestos waste pretreatment apparatus(130). The pyrolysis furnace thermally decomposes general wastes and discharges the pyrolyzed gas and pyrolyzed solid material. The melting furnace melts the pyrolyzed solid material and discharges the melting exhaust gas and slag. The asbestos waste pretreatment apparatus crushes asbestos waste at a lower pressure than the atmosphere, mixes an additive in the crushed asbestos, and discharges pelletized asbestos.
