PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To melt waste asbestos at a low melting point and to allow a fused material to have flowability.;SOLUTION: The asbestos 3 to be treated, glass frit 4 for raising the flowability of the molten material and a melting auxiliary (soda ash, borax or the like) 5 for lowering melting temperature are added into a melting furnace 1 to melt the asbestos at low temperature and the fused material discharged from the melting furnace 1 is solidified by a cooling solidifying means, and crushed by a crushing means 8, and then utilized as e.g. a recycling material 9 such as a road paving material and aggregate of cement. Besides, exhaust gas G discharged from the melting furnace 1 is subjected to heat recovery by a heat exchanger 11 and obtained warm water is supplied to a heater 14 of a vegetable raising plant 13 to keep the inside of the plant warm and treated gas G1 of the exhaust gas G is supplied into the plant 13 as a supply source of CO2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
