A method and an apparatus for translating a Braille about Korean alphabets into foreign language and outputting the translated alphabets in audio sound are provided to translate Braille in foreign language and outputs the translated Braille in audio sound when the blind input Korean Braille through a Braille input unit. A Braille input unit(310) creates a corresponding Koran Braille pattern after receiving a key or command corresponding to Korean words or sentences, and an audio output unit(340) converts audio data into an audible sound and outputs the converted audible sound. A controller(370) controls the conversion of a Braille pattern inputted from an input unit to a specific word or sentence, the creation of foreign language words or sentences, the conversion of audio data and the output to an audio output unit.
