PURPOSE: A drying apparatus for waste resin is provided to reduce drying time by allowing air to pass through waste resin and flow into a demister chamber.;CONSTITUTION: A drying apparatus for waste resin comprises a drying chamber(100), a demister chamber(200), a demister(300), a level sensor(210), a drain valve(400), a blower(500), one or more stirring blades, a guide pipe, and a screw. The demister chamber is connected to the outlet port(110) of the drying chamber. The demister is installed inside the demister chamber and separates water from air. The level sensor senses the level of water condensed in the demister chamber. The drain valve is opened and closed depending on the sensed value of the level sensor. The blower sucks air passing through the demister and re-supplies the air to the drying chamber. The stirring blades are installed inside the drying chamber. The top of the guide pipe is opened partially. The screw exhausts dried waste resin flowing into the guide pipe to the outside the drying chamber.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
