FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, obstetrics and gynecology. Method is applied in case of I-II degree of vaginal smear purity. Length of water-free interval constitutes not more than 12 hours. By means of two-way Foley catheter No 12-No 18 neck of uterus is mechanically extended. Catheter balloon is blown by introduction of 30-40 ml of sterile liquid and left in cervical canal for 3-9 hours.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce doses and time of enzaprost and oxytocin solution introduction; with reduction of development during labour of such complications as: acute starting fetus hypoxia, preterm detachment of normally located placenta and discoordination of labour activity; it also reduces frequency of Caesarian section operations and preserves at average population level indices of purulent-septic complications in mother in fetus.;2 ex
