In compliance with first version, caterpillar chain comprises drive sprocket with structural element made up of endless loop. Said structural element has pouter surface comprising grousers and inner surface including drive bosses that make drive elements. Said structural element is made from polymer material with Young modulus exceeding 10000 psi (68.94 MPa). Drive bosses and grousers are made from polymer material of said structural element. Second material arranged on one of said drive bosses or one of grousers features higher elasticity than polymer material. In compliance with second version, structural element and drive bosses are made up of a single part from polymer material with degree of crystallinity exceeding or equal to 50%. In compliance with third version, said structural element features thickness below 0.2" (5.08 mm).
