The support element (1) has a pressure piston (5) placed in a borehole of a housing and subjected by an axial feeding spring (4). A head (6) of the piston distant from the housing forms a system for a cam follower. A thread-free wedge clamping unit (7) is immanent to the support element for automatic mechanical compensation of clearance. A clamping sleeve (8) is movably guided over a cylindrical outer casing (9) for representing the clamping unit in the borehole. Flexible tongues (15) are radially spread over cones (11, 13).
