The element (1) has a position bolt (3) supported in a casing (2) against force of a spring (5) that is arranged at a component of a combustion engine. A transfer element is actively connected with a supporting head of the bolt and supported on a spring-loaded gas-exchange valve and a cam of a camshaft. The bolt is connected with a conical clamping piston (4). A clamp body (8) is axially guided in the casing and parallel to the element. The piston comprises an expandable cone and an annular collar (7). The collar grips a side of the clamp body, where the side faces the bolt.
