The lamp has primary light source (1) and disc-shaped light guide (2) which comprises narrow side (6) as light input side, narrow side (7) as rear surface side and narrow side (8) as front surface side. The front surface side is formed as light exit side. A portion of the light passed via the light input side and rear surface side, is totally reflected and deflected towards the light exit side. The three narrow sides are connected together by two opposing upper side and lower side faces (9,10) which are spaced apart from one another.
