The antenna has an array of printed block type radiating elements (10) i.e. multi-layer printed block type radiating elements, arranged opposite a ground plane (13), where each element receives an excitation intended for nominal utilization of the antenna and crossing the ground plane. A calibrating unit calibrating the antenna includes an electromagnetic connector (20) coupled with the printed block by proximity. The connector excites the radiating element with a polarization (19) same as polarization obtained by the nominal excitation, toward each element to be calibrated.
