PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation apparatus of an interlayer peel progress in a composite material capable of improving simulation accuracy, and to provide a simulation method of an interlayer peel progress in a composite material.;SOLUTION: A simulation apparatus 1 of an interlayer peel progress in a composite material calculates an energy release rate at an interlayer peel tip end of a FEM analysis model of a composite material by an FEM, compares the calculation result with a prestored fracture toughness value corresponding to the composite material, and simulates a progress in the interlayer peel of the composite material. The simulation apparatus comprises a storage unit 13 that prestores a fracture toughness value GIC at starting the interlayer peel, and a fracture toughness value GIR in mid-course of the interlayer peel progress that is different from the fracture toughness value GIC as the fracture toughness value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
