GATE BREAKING DEVICE OF DIE CASTING MOLDED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support capable of supporting a product part in a preferable state, in a gate breaking device for breaking a gate part by pushing an overflow part from above by a pusher.;SOLUTION: A gate breaking device 20 includes: a clamp mechanism 30 for holding a biscuit part W₅ of a die casting molded article W; a lifting unit 31 disposed above the die casting molded article W; and a support 32 arranged from below the die casting molded article W. The lifting unit 31 has a pusher 61 that extends toward an overflow part W₂. When the lifting unit 31 is lowered, a lower end of the pusher 61 is abutted to the overflow part W₂ and pushes the overflow part W₂ downwards and thus, a gate part W₄ on an overflow side is broken. The support 32 is composed of a shape variable member 32b to be deformed following the contour of a product part W₁, and the product part W₁ of the die casting molded article W is supported by an upper surface 32c of the shape variable member 32b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
