PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it cannot be determined in which denomination a balance abnormality occurs when a balance abnormality occurs in multiple denominations.SOLUTION: A coin depositing/dispensing device includes: an identification part; a storage part having storages; a selection part; storage number detection sensors; a memory part for memorizing balance information associating the number of coins detected by each storage number detection sensor with corresponding denomination; an output part for conveying and delivering a necessary number of coins to a coin outlet; multiple output sensors for detecting whether a denomination of coins is a denomination specified by a coin output instruction; and a controller for writing an alert flag of balance abnormality to balance information in association with a denomination in which an output sensor and a storage number detection sensor detect an abnormality. The controller reports a balance abnormality for each denomination by an alert flag.
