PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil agent having excellent lamella-formability, for cosmetic and skin external preparation.;SOLUTION: There is provided a diester composition of N-lauroyl-L-glutamic acid and mixed alcohol comprising phytosterol and behenyl alcohol, where the molar ratio of behenyl alcohol to phytosterol is 3-9. Further 2-octyldodecanol may be contained in the mixed alcohol.
