Disclosed are a method and system for antenna alignment. The method comprises: in a reception direction of a first antenna, receiving an electromagnetic signal transmitted by a second antenna; determining a strength value of the electromagnetic signal; converting the strength value to a display value within a predetermined range; displaying the display value, so that a user may determine, according to the display value, whether the first antenna is aligned with the second antenna. The system comprises a display module and a communications device having a first antenna. The communications device further comprises: a receiving unit, a first determination unit, and a conversion unit. In the method and system for antenna alignment according to the embodiments of the present invention, the strength value of the electromagnetic signal is determined in the reception direction of the antenna to be aligned, and is displayed, so that the user performs antennal alignment according to the display value, so as to improve the antenna alignment accuracy, and decrease the antenna alignment difficulty and cost.
