PURPOSE: A temperature sensing device for a rolling mill and a control method thereof are provided to prevent deformation caused by a temperature difference between the top surface and bottom surface of an object.;CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensing device for a rolling mill is composed of temperature detection sensors(32,34), a removal unit, and a cutoff unit(70). The temperature detection sensors measure the temperature of the top surface and bottom surface of an object passing through a rolling mill using infrared rays. The removal unit removes foreign materials existing on the surface of the object and the gap between the temperature detection sensors and the object. The cutoff unit prevents foreign materials from moving to the temperature detection sensors.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
