摘要

PURPOSE: A display device for alarming fuel shortage and a method for the same are provided to warn a driver of the fuel shortage of a vehicle by displaying warning lights of different colors according to the level of fuel shortage.;CONSTITUTION: A display device(100) for alarming fuel shortage comprises a fuel tank(110), a mycom(120), and a display unit(130). The fuel tank comprises a fuel level sensor(111) for storing the fuel of a vehicle and sensing the amount of fuel remaining. The mycom controls to display a first color when the sensed amount of fuel by the fuel level sensor is the same as or smaller than a predetermined first reference value and greater than a predetermined first reference value. The mycom controls to display a second color when the sensed amount of fuel by the fuel level sensor is the same as or smaller than the second reference value.
