PURPOSE: A vehicle lamp and a control method thereof are provided to improve performance of a lamp device by compensating deviation between a gaze angle of a camera and an aiming angle of a lamp unit. CONSTITUTION: A detection unit detects an object in a driving direction of a vehicle(S200). A gaze angle of the detection unit is recalled(S210). A lamp unit irradiates light based on the gaze angle. The detection unit detects an irradiation angle of the irradiated light(S240). The detection unit recalls a reference irradiation angle(S250). The gaze angle is compensated(S270). The lamp unit irradiates light based on the compensated gaze angle(S290).
