PURPOSE: A simulation system for performance evaluation of a wearable type robot and a method thereof are provided to efficiently evaluate the performance of the wearable type robot based on a design parameter of the wearable type robot.;CONSTITUTION: A simulation method comprises as follows. Design parameters including machine information, actuator specification information, and battery specification information of a wearable type robot are input. The wearable robot is interpreted based on the design parameters by using mechanic theory modeling, kinetic modeling, actuator modeling, and sensor modeling.
