PURPOSE: A position control belt device for a system in which automatically sorts a mail and a package is provided to operate an efficient sorting system in a small space, to correctly control position, and to improve process efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A belt conveyor of a position control belt device for a system in which automatically sorts a mail and a package is a flat belt. A mail tray is fixed in a longitudinal direction to an upper edge unit of the belt conveyor in a constant interval. Penetration holes of the number corresponding to the mail tray with the horizontal in a longitudinal direction of the belt conveyor are formed in arbitrary position of the vertical width of the belt conveyor.
