PURPOSE: Rice mixed with seasoned edible new shoots with improved palatability, and a producing method thereof are provided to improve the nutrition of the rice. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of rice mixed with seasoned edible new shoots with improved palatability comprises the following steps: washing the edible new shoots including Acanthopanax shoots, Kalopanax shoots, and edible shoots of a fatsia, and parboiling and freezing the edible new shoots; thawing the frozen edible new shoots, and slicing; and mixing the edible new shoot slices, cooked rice, red pepper paste, and other ingredients. The other ingredients include bean sprouts, carrot, Lentinus edodes, and green pumpkin.
